no news is good news

Written By: Philip Orr
Directed By: Paula McFetridge
Production Premiere: 28th October 2016

No News is Good News takes you back 100 years to meet the villagers of Ballycultra, where everyone had heard rumours about the slaughter at the Battle of the Somme. They were desperate for news.

The first official news they received were 2 telegrams in the space of 4 months.  2 telegrams with 2 different addresses.

A Kabosh promenade production in the Ulster Folk and Transport museum at Cultra looking at the impact of World War 1 at home.
