Lizzie Howard

Lizzie is the newest member of the Kabosh team, joining as Assistant Creative Producer in 2022.
At Kabosh she assists in producing our annual artistic programme, with a particular focus on marketing. Lizzie lived in Scotland for four years, leaving with a degree in Film Studies & Literature from St Andrews and the skills to pour a perfect pint.
Back in Belfast, she began working as Front of House and Box Office at the MAC in 2018, freelancing on more creative projects, including the Northern Ireland Human Rights Festival, the Yes Men’s visit to Belfast and other pop up events. She went on to complete an MA in Conflict Transformation and Social Justice with a focus on arts animation of public space, studying part-time whilst working across the arts sector.
Lizzie was also an associate at Community Relations in Schools, working on their KS2 cross-community projects in Primary Schools across Belfast and Derry. In 2020 she joined Young At Art as Marketing & Box Office Assistant, working with the team to translate Belfast Children’s Festival 2021 to an online event for the first time. Her work in hybrid productions continued with The John Hewitt Summer School in 2021, with the festival live-streamed from Armagh for the first time. Other festival work has included everything from box office, production, programming and marketing for local organisations like CQAF’s Out To Lunch Festival, Belfast Film Festival and Open Botanic.
She works with Kabosh four days a week, her role is funded by the Future Screens Art Work programme.
