Pogue’s Entry is a living history experience based upon the life of Alexander Irvine and taking place in Pogue’s Entry, Irvine’s birthplace, in Antrim town centre.

Using promenade theatre the piece explores some of the key events and influences on Irvine’s life from his early childhood in Antrim to his later life and work in America.

Developed in partnership with support from Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, the project aimed to connect residents of Antrim and visitors to the area to learn about the history of life in the town and one of the area’s most celebrated figures.
