Allianz Arts & Business Awards 2012

Allianz Arts & Business Awards 2012

April 2012

January saw success for Kabosh with a sell-out run of Hostel, dual awards from Arts & Business and securing two community engagement tenders for NMNI.

Keep an eye out for four Kabosh events during the Titanic Centenary celebrations – these will be featured in our March newsletter.

Kabosh received two awards at this year’s Allianz Arts & Business Awards for our theatrical walking food tour Belfast Bred.

The award for Cultural Branding was given to Kabosh and partners Sawers, Mourne Seafood Bar, Nick’s Warehouse, The John Hewitt and Botanic Inns, for “a partnership that reinforces the branding and marketing activity of a business through the use of culture”.

Kabosh also received the Arts Award for an organisation that “has consistently looked to develop and pioneer new ideas, whilst demonstrating a progressive and creative approach to business partnership.” We would like to say a huge thanks to the arts & business judges and congratulations to our project partners.

We are currently working on the Belfast Bred app with digital partners Design Zoo and hope to have Barney (aka Michael Lavery) out plodding the streets of Belfast summer 2012.
